Hello everyone! The past few days have been pretty relaxing, and uneventful in a good way. We had one class yesterday, German language, and two classes today: introduction to conducting and German history! We have homework already, but I feel like I've been really proactive with it so far. Both yesterday and today I finished my homework before dinner time, and it felt amazing to just go to bed at night when I got tired, without having to worry about what is due the next day. Plus, it has all been kinda fun so far! Why wouldn't you want to do German homework to learn the language better? Maybe it's just a contagious type of thing here where when you're living in this old part of Heidelberg, you want to learn everything you can about it. I have even become a morning person so far this semester. But... ask me how much this has all changed in a couple months. I'm sure I'll get lazy and more like a real college student by then :)
Anyway, we are also celebrating birthdays here! Today was Jessica Kremer's birthday, and tomorrow is Naomi's birthday. That's been fun :)
Now it's bedtime. When something more eventful happens... you all know I'll keep you posted.
