Today was a pretty relaxing day! We met up at 10 to get to church, and there were 4 of us who were going to ride the bus. However, after arriving at the bus stop at 10:15, we found out that the bus won't actually arrive until 10:40. So we walked 2 miles to church and arrived at 11:00, even though service started at 10:30! I got blisters from walking in bad shoes.. I'd worn them because I had thought that we were just taking the bus and weren't going to be walking a lot. Definitely didn't turn out that way.
The church service was interesting. It was a Calvary Chapel church in the other side of Heidelberg. The songs were mainly sung in English, which was cool! And the pastor spoke in English first, then the interpreter spoke in German. It's interesting because usually, in the churches around here, they would speak in German first then interpret it into English.
Anyway, thankfully we took the bus back after church! Then I took a three hour nap, which was very refreshing. Since then I've been uploading pictures and figuring out my classes and homework and such. We actually just finished watching the Goonies in Naomi and Mandy's room. And that is how I am going to spend the rest of my night!
